Sixty friends celebrated David’s 60th birthday at a Hawaiian Luau-themed backyard barbeque. I made my entrance singing a little “Ho” music, then asked “What Valhalla’s going on here?”. I addressed David and explained that in Wagner’s language (German) the word for six is sechs (pronounced “zex”). Therefore, I concluded that Dave made “sixty” “sechs-ty.” We all then sang a couple of rounds of Happy Birthday.
Shortly thereafter, I returned my Viking gear to my car and noticed a lot of howling coming from the direction of a wooded area nearby. Thank goodness I had my plastic spear to protect me!
The hostess, Rose, invited me to eat, so, I returned and half the party was leaving. They had stayed just to see Dave get roasted by yours truly LOL!
