This is how sixty years of wedded bliss looks! Sixty years ago, Carol was a flower girl at Evelyn and Ed’s wedding. Their family had an intimate dinner in their home to celebrate. As a gift to the happy couple, Carol asked me to serenade them, then to ask the family to encircle the couple and lead in singing “Let me call you sweetheart” – the song they sang to one another at their wedding so many years ago. Almost everyone was smiling through tears during the whole experience. I had to fight back sniffling myself. What a beautiful gift to me to witness such love among people!
