OperaGram.com® wants everyone to be able to learn about our singing telegrams and place an order, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation or screen magnification.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we review our site as we add new content.
What we have done
- Added text descriptions to images and press logos
- Improved text and button color contrast so content is easier to read
- Added a visible outline that shows where you are when navigating by keyboard
- Added “Skip to content” and “Skip to navigation” links
- Organized headings so pages are easy to navigate with a screen reader
- Made the order steps announce themselves to screen readers and work with the keyboard
- Labeled buttons and form fields, including search and video controls
- Allowed pinch-to-zoom on phones and tablets
Known limitations
- Some of our demonstration videos do not yet have captions. We are working on adding them.
- Our date-and-time booking calendar is provided by a third party (TidyCal). Its keyboard focus indicator can be hard to see. If you have any trouble booking, call or text us and we will take your order directly.
