Nicole celebrated her 35th birthday this morning surrounded by her friend Peyton (who hired OperaGram.com®) and their friends at Julius Meinl Coffee House on Lincoln Avenue at Montrose in Chicago.
I dashed in and made a bee line to the back of the restaurant where I knew they would be sitting. Nicole didn’t notice I was standing there until I asked whether she was Nicole. Then the shock of seeing a Viking-clad woman set in. It was wonderful to watch her face during the first round of the birthday greeting.
Then, I asked everybody in the Viennese restaurant to join me in a round of Happy Birthday. How fun it was to hear these people sing in celebration of the life of someone they didn’t know.

P.S. Sometimes I notice people taking pictures or videos of me while I’m delivering an OperaGram.com® in Person. If I’m in a restaurant, often times the people filming aren’t even in the party of the person being celebrated.
Peyton saw OperaGram.com® on the news about a month ago. She said the video showed me and someone I probably work with going into a restaurant. I had no idea we were on the news again, but I am greatful to whomever shared their video!
