World travelers Helaine and Arthur were surrounded by friends and loved ones as they celebrated 50 years of a life journey together.
Helaine is a huge opera fan. Her favorite operas have been written by Strauss, Mozart, Puccini and Verdi. The message presented to them this evening included snippets of melodies from these composers into an operatic medly.
Applause and laughter were frequent and the bride had tears in her eyes at the end. The real applause, however, belongs to these people who have loved one another for so long.
