I am sooooo cracking up today!
First, a woman who had called this past Saturday about a message for her brother called to say it wasn’t going to work. The reason? Unbeknownst to her, her brother was standing right behind her the entire conversation! Moral of the story? Be sure the person you want to surprise doesn’t have access to your planning.
Second, a press release was posted to Lyric Opera of Chicago’s site calls for women:
- with strong ballet training
- with modern dance experience
- to appear as Can-Can Girls
- to perform a “song and dance” number
- to be sung in a classical (not Broadway “belt”) style
